Umbro bought in AitorThroup - who thinks very technically about his garments and how clothing behaves and functions on the body, and Charlie Allen - a London tailor.

I am taking inspiration from the 18th century so in my designs I would like to make a feature of the pockets. Have decided to use a tapestry technique on a welt pocket. I used this tapestry technique for shoulder pieces on a dress for spring/summer - am hoping to take a better photoshoot of this dress - so watch this space! Speak soon Fashion Fantasist x
Happy New Year!!!! I thought today would be a good day to start this blog!! I am a fashion and textiles student in my final year and wanted to share with you my own work and inspirations. I like fashion as a fantasy, love Tim Walker photography and the idea of Anti-fashion. Is fashion art, something we use to express ourselves - or just something we wear? Anyway Happy 2010!!
