New Shoes!!!
Well I have had a couple of wonderful surprises this week!! Tuesday there were flowers by my door and Wednesday (yesterday) I received Louise Goldin shoes from Topshop!! Imagine my surprise and pleasure at receiving these beautiful shoes - Mr Fashion Fantasist is keeping me on my toes what a sweetie.
Anyway instead of discussing my other half it got me thinking about my professional appearance once I leave Uni. I really love the pinky nude shades and light greys at the moment and believe with my new shoes those colours are the step in the right direction!!
Lots of love Fashion Fantasist xxx

How to wear a jumper
Hello!!
This week have been fairly productive... My ideas are starting to come together and I am managing to keep up with my to do list! Tuesday morning I did a photo shoot of different layers of clothing and how to wear different clothing. I am aiming to produce a trompe l'oeil effect but to use it in a more intelligent way. Unfortunately this is all I can say for now.... :)
Well tomorrow we get a First Year helper.... Might be getting them to stitch some tapestry pockets - will be a real help :)
Anyway hope you are having a lovely week

RIP l'enfant terrible
News today that Alexander Mcqueen one of the most influencial fashion designers of our time was dead completely shocked me! Just browsing facebook to find someones status 'RIP Alexander McQueen' - there was then an immediate rush to find out what had happened. I am deeply saddened as he was one of the first designers who truely inspired and excited me.
British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman said: "Lee McQueen influenced a whole generation of designers.
"His brilliant imagination knew no bounds as he conjured up collection after collection of extraordinary designs." (This quote is found on Sky News Website)
My thoughts are with his family.
RIP Lee Alexander McQueen
