Show Preparations
Sorry I have not really blogged properly for a while! The show was last weekend - can't believe it has been almost a week!! Over the next few days I will probably be posting dribs and drabs from last Saturday...
Here are all my garments bagged up with their shoes ready to go to the Passenger Shed.
Waiting for the van. It was a really beautiful sunny day!

In New York Paris Tomorrow
Fellow Blogger Madeleine Gallay recently asked if she could blog about my work. It is a lovely piece with a selection of photographs from my research and finished work. Check out her blog here. These links are links to her posts about my work - part one part two.
Hope you enjoy!!

What to wear to a fashion show?
Hello! Well today I am trying to decide what to wear to my fashion show... There are two shows and I would quite like to wear two different outfits - here is one definite decision whether this is the evening or afternoon show.... Will maybe have a look in town tomorrow afternoon and see if anything catches my eye!
Will keep you posted

What's in a name?
Here is a rough idea of my line up for my collection.... Please help - any suggestions for a name for this collection I would greatly appreciate!? My original inspiration was Holkham Hall tapestries and I have gone on to explore illusion and depth through photographic prints. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Round and Round in Circles
This song is stuck in my head....
Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's turning
Running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind
Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of it's own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream.
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it's face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind
Keys that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle your head
Why did summer go so quickly
Was it something that I said
Lovers walking along the shore,
Leave their footprints in the sand
Was the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand
Pictures hanging in a hallway
And a fragment of this song
Half remembered names and faces
But to whom do they belong
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the color of her hair
Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
As the images unwind
Like the circle that you find
In the windmills of your mind
Pictures hanging in a hallway
And the fragment of this song
Half remembered names and faces
But to whom do they belong
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning
To the color of her hair
Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
As the images unwind
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind
Personally prefer the tempo of the original.
